A group of Somali pirates has committed a fatal mistake when they recently attacked a seemingly harmless vessel that turned out to be a French navy command and supply ship.
Two skiffs attacked the Somme late at night some 500 kms off the Somali coast. One of the skiffs managed to get away, while one, with five Somali pirates aboard, was caught by the Somme after an hour-long chase.
